Candace Owens has responded to Seth Dillion, suggesting they sit down for an interview to discuss the recent jokes made by The Babylon Bee about her.

Right before Christmas, The Babylon Bee wrote an article titled, "Candace Owens Horrified To Learn Christmas Was Started By Birth Of A Jew." This sparked a debate between fans of Candace and those defending The Babylon Bee.

Now that the dust has settled, Candace has responded to a post by Seth Dillion, who praised Vivek Ramaswamy's responds to jokes made about him, obviously comparing him to Candace who wasn't amused by the Bee's Christmas jokes.

Candace wrote, "is this an invitation for me to come on your podcast and discuss your really funny jokes? Because if so, I fully accept."

Candace also followed up with, '"You let me know when @SethDillon. 2025 should be an illuminating year for the public and a discussion between you and I could be a terrific contribution."

Many people in the comments support the idea of an interview. Dillon responded with deflection, writing, "But if we talked about our secret agenda it wouldn't be a secret anymore. I don't know. This feels like a trap."

Dillion is making a Jewish power joke, which is super funny to his boomer audience, but not really an answer to the interview question. He didn't say no outright, so there could still be a chance of this interview happening, it would certainly go viral if it did happen.

Dillion then doubled down on the Jewish joke thing, writing, "Besides, we'd have to check with our handlers first. They're . . . strict. And we'd have to work around the festivals, high holy days, shabbat, etc. It's not a simple yes or no."

Obviously, really funny stuff from the king of satire. It's interesting that he wouldn't directly answer the question or comment on Candace's post. Dillion has dug himself into a bit of a hole here because he's still maintaining that everything said about Candace was a joke and totally satirical.

If that was truly the case, which it's not, then he should have no problem sitting down with her for an interview. It's all just jokes right, nothing serious. But now he can't outright say no because then it would be clear that the jokes weren't actually jokes but really an attack on Candace.

Both Kyle Mann and Seth Dillion are avoiding any interaction with Candace directly and are not really talking to her in this exchange, but instead are making jokes to their audience to avoid the subject. Did their interactions with Vivek also go this way when he asked for an interview?

Everyone would love to see an interview at this point. It would clear the air and give both sides a chance to further explain their positions. But in their defence, an interview with Candace Owen has very little upside for The Babylon Bee because they've already boxed themselves into the 'joke' defence. If they reveal their true position, it destroys their entire narrative.
