President Javier Milei was awarded the Genesis Prize on Tuesday for “his unequivocal support of Israel during one of the most difficult times since the founding of the Jewish State.”
The Genesis Prize was founded in 2012 to reward Jewish individuals that advocate for 'Jewish values' and those who support or provide service to the state of Israel. The Genesis Foundation works in partnership with the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
Here's what the Genesis website says regarding the award:
"The Genesis Prize is an annual $1 million award that honors living Jewish individuals who have attained international renown in their chosen professional fields, are proud of their Jewish heritage, care about the future of the Jewish people and the State of Israel, and inspire young people to make the world a better place."

Javier Milei is the first non-Jewish recipient of the Genesis Award. Previous recipients include actor Michael Douglas, Natalie Portman (Hershlag), and Albert Bourla CEO of Pfizer.
“President Milei is a true hero of the Jewish people,” said Stan Polovets, co-founder and chairman of The Genesis Prize Foundation. “Unlike leaders of many other countries, Milei has unconditionally backed the Jewish people and their state. This award expresses the appreciation of the State of Israel and the gratitude of the people of Israel toward the president and the people of Argentina.”
Upon accepting the honor, Milei said, “I am deeply honored to receive the Genesis Prize. I will give the monetary prize to causes that support freedom and the fight against antisemitism, whether in Argentina or worldwide.”
Javier Milei is a proud supporter of Jews and the state of Israel, he is often seen with his Rabbi and wearing a Kippah. Many people have speculated that Milei might also be of Jewish descent due to his unabashed support.
