Hollywood is often considered a progressive bubble, with most celebrities leaning left when it comes to politics. For years, celebrities using their platforms to support progressive movements or criticize conservative viewpoints has been the norm. But not everyone in Hollywood follows the same script.

A growing group of women in the entertainment industry are challenging this narrative. These conservative female celebrities are not afraid to speak their minds, share their beliefs, and support causes that align with their values—even when it means going against the grain.

Conservative Female Celebrities Defying Hollywood Norms

These ladies aren’t shy about showing support for conservative causes, President Trump, or right-leaning ideologies—something that definitely sets them apart from many of their peers in Tinseltown. They’ve become active advocates for their beliefs, despite the potential backlash. Let’s take a closer look at some of these bold conservative female celebrities who aren’t afraid to buck the liberal trend.

Taryn Manning

Taryn Manning, known for her role as Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett on Orange Is the New Black, has been outspoken in her support for Donald Trump. She’s made it clear that she’s done hiding her views, even if it costs her in Hollywood. Manning criticized the industry for canceling her and stated that she’ll “never work again in sh*t Hollywood.” She’s even described Trump as “the most un-racist human on this planet”. Her support of the former president certainly raised some eyebrows, but it’s a perfect example of how she’s choosing to speak her mind despite the liberal pressures of Hollywood. And as an actress who grew up in a trailer park and hustled her way to the top of her field, she’s certainly a voice to admire when discussing the conservative values of hard work, good character, and merit.

Amber Rose

Amber Rose, known for her unassuming attitude, has become an unexpected voice in support of the MAGA movement. Rose, who has previously been critical of Trump during his presidency, recently switched her stance. Earlier this year, she said, “I’m 40 now, and this is why I don’t give a f*** anymore.” She’s been vocal about her support and spoke at the RNC in 2024. What’s more, in May, she posted a photo with Trump and his wife, Melania, and captioned it “Trump 2024.”

Caitlyn Jenner

Jenner initially supported Donald Trump in 2016 because of his economic agenda. However, she became disillusioned with Trump after his stance on transgender issues, and by 2018, she publicly rescinded her support in an op-ed in The Washington Post. If you’re late to the show and don’t understand the controversy here, Caitlyn Jenner wasn’t always called like that: She changed names and gender roughly ten years ago. She was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, an athlete who even has an Olympic gold medal (in men’s competition, that is).

Even after this op-ed, Jenner has always identified as “economically conservative” and continues to defend policies aligned with her beliefs in free markets and fiscal responsibility. While her views on social issues have fluctuated, she’s remained committed to conservative economic principles. In 2024, she reaffirmed her backing for Trump’s economic agenda and publicly threw her support behind him again.

Roseanne Barr

Roseanne Barr has never been shy about her support for Donald Trump, and it’s become a big part of her public persona. When Roseanne returned to TV in 2018, her character was written as a proud Trump supporter—mirroring Barr’s own political beliefs. Even after being fired from the show over a controversial tweet, Barr’s loyalty to Trump hasn’t budged. In fact, in 2023, she shared a story about meeting Trump and called him “the only one with balls” who isn’t afraid to take on the political establishment. 

Barr’s been outspoken in her support and even released satirical videos poking fun at Joe Biden. While Hollywood may have turned its back on her, Barr has embraced her conservative views and hasn’t backed down. She’s a true Trump loyalist, and she’s proud of it.

Kristy Swanson

Kristy Swanson, the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has made her conservative views known throughout her career. Swanson positions herself as an alternative to Hollywood’s usual left-leaning narrative and proudly stands up for traditional conservative values like limited government and personal freedom. She’s been an active Trump supporter for years and uses her social media to call out the liberal media and the rise of woke culture.
