Whether they’re backing conservative causes or simply rejecting the status quo, these stars are proof that Hollywood’s ideological network is more varied than we often hear. We’re not including Mel Gibson, Sly Stallone, or Arnold Schwarzenegger because you know about those already. These are famous conservative arts and media celebrities who lean right:

Kanye West

Kanye West’s relationship with Donald Trump has been anything but straightforward. From their highly publicized 2018 meeting in the Oval Office to Kanye’s 2020 presidential run, it’s been a rollercoaster. However, despite any public disagreements or controversies, West remains a solid Trump supporter. When asked about his 2024 vote, Kanye didn’t hesitate: “Yeah, of course. It’s Trump all day.” Despite their feud, it’s clear that West continues to back many of the president-elect’s policies, especially his stance on free speech and individual rights.

Zachary Levi

Zachary Levi, who plays Shazam! in the DC universe, made headlines during a Trump rally in Michigan. There, he endorsed the president for a second term and even dropped a nod to his superhero role while doing so. At first, Levi backed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the 2024 race, but after Kennedy dropped out, Levi switched gears and gave his full support to Trump.

Dennis Quaid

While the Reagan actor isn’t tied to any one political party—he’s called himself an independent—he’s been vocal about his admiration for Trump. Quaid has praised the president on platforms like The Joe Rogan Experience and Piers Morgan Uncensored and said, “People might call him an a**hole, but he’s my a**hole.” His strong backing of Trump has made him one of the more politically vocal figures in Hollywood. And, while he doesn’t align with a specific party, Quaid’s endorsement of Trump has made his views clear.

Russell Brand

Russell Brand is another celebrity who’s hard to pin down politically, but his views lean right in some surprising ways. The British actor and comedian was considered a liberal, but he “re-branded” and has been a strong supporter of Trump since the 2016 election, and even attended this year’s Republican National Convention. Though his political opinions have been all over the map, Brand is known for his criticisms of the mainstream media and establishment politics and often aligns himself with anti-establishment figures—many of whom lean conservative. While Brand doesn’t always align with Trump on every issue, he’s definitely not afraid to challenge the left-wing narrative.

Brand, who married singer Katy Perry and likely got his U.S. citizenship through that marriage, was recently spotted at Mar-a-Lago with Mel Gibson and Tucker Carlson.

Kid Rock

Kid Rock has been an active supporter of conservative politics for years. The musician made it clear where he stands: He performed at the 2024 RNC. His political activism goes beyond just performing—he’s been vocal about his dislike of political correctness, cancel culture, and the mainstream media. He’s called all of this out as a growing trend of censorship and self-censorship in American society. 

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson

Get rich—or die tryin’. If anything else, that’s a conservative, lift-yourself-by-your-bootstraps motto, and 50 Cent has mostly lived up to it. The superstar rapper has had a bit of a back-and-forth with politics, especially when it comes to Donald Trump. After the 2016 election, the rapper initially showed support for Trump, only to backtrack at times. But in July 2024, the recording artist got a lot of attention when he posted a photoshopped image of his iconic Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album cover and replaced his own face with Donald Trump’s, in a clear sign of support.
