Why would the government allow people into their country who have reduced IQs from generations of inbreeding?

Yesterday (Dec 10), "British" MP Iqbal Mohamed spoke out against a proposed ban on marriage between first cousins in Britain.

The independent MP, who is of Indian origin, told the House of Commons on Tuesday that, "35-50% of sub-Saharan African nations either prefer or accept cousin marriages, and it is extremely common in the Middle East and South Asia."

He went on to explain that people from the mentioned regions, "see family intermarriage overall as something that is very positive."

Although Mohamed admitted to the health dangers of cousin marriage, he suggested that a ban was not the right approach. And that Genetic test screening and health awareness were more "positive" government responses to communities engaged in interfamilial marriage.

The MP urged members to "step into the shoes of those who are perhaps are not from the same culture of ours" when approaching this "highly sensitive issue."

The proposed marriage bill was introduced by Tory MP Richard Holden, who noticed a 'worrying trend' of an increased rate of cousins marrying among some communities in Britain.

Cousin marriage in Western nations is counter cultural and often likened to marriage between siblings. It's not considered a sensitive issue because it is not culturally accepted like it is in Muslim and Hindu nations.

MP Iqbal Mohamed is defending foreign communities from India, Pakistan, and Arab nations that do not share British values. He is purposely minimising their behaviour because he is a member of that community. Rather than address the issue, he would suggest tolerance and patience with communities that, on the whole, serve no benefit to the host nation.

What's even more worrying is that people from these cultures were even allowed to have access to the UK in the first place.

Why would the government allow people into their country who have reduced IQs from generations of inbreeding, and will continue to reduce the IQ of their offspring by engaging in the same practices?
