In today's society, we tend to believe that witches and witchcraft are a thing of the past. The Satanic Panic of the 1980s and the witch trials of the late 1600s — these were events that started because people gave into irrational fear and superstition.
There was no scientific basis for these claims and therefore these fears were all an elaborate hoax thought up to persecute minorities, enemies, and societal misfits. Well, that's what the average historian would say.
But when you dig a little deeper, you'll quickly find that Satanism is more alive than ever, witches did (and do) exist, and these "ungodly" behaviors that were a death sentence for women (and men) back in the day have become mainstream practices.
Let's take a look at how people identified witches in the past and apply that to modern women to see if there are any similarities.
1. She's had an abortion
Dating a girl who's had an abortion? If so, she has done what witches have been accused of doing for centuries, the ritual sacrifice of children. Witches had a tendency to steal and murder children, why? Children symbolize innocence and purity, and harming them is seen as the ultimate act of evil against God.
Interestingly, witches also used the bodies and blood of children for their spells, potions, and rituals. In the same way, pharmaceutical companies use the bodies and blood of babies for their vaccines and medicines.
1 Timothy 2:15 says, "women will be saved through childbearing" so what happens when a woman executes her child? – her only way to salvation? She becomes a servant of the devil, a witch.
2. Your feelings are subject to her control
A witch can be identified by their ability to influence someone with strong feelings of love or hatred (Malleus Maleficarum, 1487). Witches would help young women catch the eye of their love interest, by casting a spell or concocting a love potion.
Nowadays, women use phycological and physical tactics to trap and compel men. If you find yourself acting irrationally and unable to control your feelings, for example showing up at 3:00 am blackout drunk and screaming at her through a locked door. Well, you might be dating a witch.
3. She makes you sterile or makes your male organ disappear
Some legends claim witches can steal a man’s genitals (symbolically or magically), hiding them in a box or tree until the spell is broken. Think of the saying, "She's got him by the balls" or "he's whipped" these are also symbolic of a woman stealing a man's vitality.
Now, I have no scientific evidence to back up this next claim, but I'd also argue that men who are dating or married to overbearing women are also those likely to struggle with impotency and fertility. Literally robbing the man of his seed and children.
4. She has a large or hooked nose, deep-set eyes, or an overall bony and unattractive look
Basically, if you have an ugly girlfriend, she's probably a witch trying to steal your seed. And look, some guys can't tell if their girl is busted, so thankfully we got some characteristics to look out for. Check the size of her nose, make sure it's not too hooked or too large. If she's got warts all over her face, that's not a good sign.
Also, one of the guides said if she's bony and incredibly skinny, that could be a sign she's a witch. You need to keep your girl fat, so she's not angry all the time and behaving like a witch. That being said, there is a common misconception that witches are these ugly old hags. Not true. More often than not, witches have an alluring appearance and can use illusion magic (makeup) – in that case, check the eyes. The eyes are the biggest tell. If they are empty, arrogant, or lustful, you've got a witch on your hands.
5. She sucks the energy out of you
Witches steal a man's vitality. They emotionally and physiologically drain their victim, sapping a man's energy and life force. There are plenty of men who understand the feeling I'm describing. The drama, the fights, the complaining — it's a tiring cycle that eats away at a man's vitality.
If this describes your relationship, you might be dating a witch. She's sucking all your energy and using it to power all of her wicked schemes. Find a woman who energizes you, that makes you excited, that increases your confidence and your vitality, not detracts from that. They do exist... I think.
6. She goes to the club
Witches historically gathered in secret, often under the cover of night, to conduct their rituals and commune with the devil. They would eat nightshade to induce hallucinations and have this sexual, drug-induced experience dancing and getting naked under the full moon.
What happens at the club is basically the same thing. Women show up half-naked, get blackout drunk, take drugs, dance and look for someone to hook up with. What's the difference between that and a Bacchanal? Anyway, you know all this, I don't need to explain this point.
7. The devil's mark: She has tattoos
Witches can be identified with a physical mark on their body which is typically located in areas that are not easily seen, such as along the inner thigh, the back, or under the arm, which allows it to be hidden during normal social interactions.
Tattoos, I'd argue, can serve as the devil's mark too. A tramp stamp, a pentagram, a provocatively placed tattoo, what's the purpose? To communicate your rebellious nature and act salacious. There are also specific animals that are associated with witchcraft, so keep an eye out for them. Cute bunny tattoo? Witch.
8. She has a past and is proud of it.
Sexual liberation and promiscuity. There are core characteristics of a witch. Aleister Crowley, the father of modern Satanism, advocated for his followers to engage in sexual acts of all kinds, including homosexuality and fetishism. Not only was it encouraged as an act of rebellion against religious norms, but also as a powerful magical tool.
When someone disregards the sacred nature of sex, diminishing it down to a thoughtless act of pleasure, that's cause for concern. Of course, there are people who regret their past (that's a different thing), but there are many who justify their actions through the logic of "it made me who I am today" or "it was a learning experience." Forget all that nonsense, that's not real.
9. She's a strong independent woman / feminist
Witches were the first feminists. They often lived apart from society, they were unmarried, they were ugly, and had their own source of income. To the feminist, witches are icons, for they too rejected conventional societal morals.
This girl boss behavior causes more problems than it solves, not only in relationships but in society. This type of woman will always put herself first, will extract your vitality, and eventually steal your children (if she gives you any).
10. She performs physical illusions with makeup and other body altercations
Witches were known to have the ability to perform physical illusions, such as changing their appearance or tricking a person into seeing something that wasn't there. The modern witch uses makeup and body altercations to change her physical appearance to be more appealing to men who would otherwise be unobtainable. Also, the art of "makeup" was taught to women by the fallen angel Azazel.
You can draw the line wherever you want, but we can all agree that the illusion magic done with makeup has gone way too far. Sometimes you peel back that clown mask and the creature underneath, smiling back, is from HELL. And it makes you puke. The nose jobs, the boob jobs, the ass jobs — everything is done to trick men into thinking a woman is fertile and healthy. Not at all dissimilar to old hag witches that used magic to transform into beautiful maidens.
