$2 Tip Dispute Turns Violent: Pregnant Mother Stabbed 14 Times by Pizza Delivery Driver

In a shocking incident in Kissimmee, Florida, a pizza delivery turned into a nightmare for a young family when a tipping dispute escalated into violence. Brianna Alvelo, a pizza delivery driver, was arrested after allegedly stabbing a pregnant woman 14 times in front of her 5-year-old daughter.

The altercation began at the Riviera Motel, where Alvelo delivered a pizza to the family. The order totaled $33.10, and the customer provided $50, expecting $16.90 in change. Alvelo reportedly claimed it was against company policy to provide change, leading the customer to tip $2 instead. Witnesses described Alvelo leaving the scene visibly upset.

Approximately 90 minutes later, Alvelo returned to the motel with an accomplice. Both were masked, and the accomplice was armed with a firearm. The pair forced their way into the room, where the accomplice restrained the woman’s boyfriend in the bathroom. Alvelo then attacked the woman, stabbing her multiple times as she tried to shield her young daughter.

The violent encounter also involved property damage, including the destruction of the child’s Nintendo Switch, before the suspects fled with stolen items. The victim, who was rushed to the hospital, underwent surgery for a ruptured lung. During her treatment, it was revealed that she was in the early stages of pregnancy. Despite the severity of her injuries, she is currently in stable condition.

Law enforcement identified Alvelo’s vehicle through security footage and arrested her the next day. She faces a series of charges, including attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault with a weapon. Alvelo is being held without bond, and the male accomplice remains at large.

The incident has drawn widespread attention, with many expressing outrage over the violence stemming from a tipping dispute. The pizza company involved issued a statement expressing their regret and emphasizing their commitment to safety.
