Tom Homan, former ICE Director, and our new border czar, vows to enforce immigration laws and boost border security.
“Every day I wake up and think about what has happened to this country, where if you want to enforce the law, you’re a bad guy, well, if you break the law, you’re a victim… All I’m trying to do is enforce the laws. All the laws that were enacted by Congress, signed by President, laws we’ve been enforcing for decades, and all sudden, that’s a bad thing.”
He calls for a “historic mass deportation” due to record illegal border crossings and plans to coordinate efforts across border security agencies.
“President Trump has made it clear that we’re going to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats… the millions that come across this border that this administration led in, 9 out of 10 of them will get an order removal. They’re gonna go home…
We’ll give you a hearing, but at a hearing, if you lose, you’re going to go home. Because if we don’t, if that court order doesn’t mean anything, then what the hell are we doing?… The orders are meaningless.”
Homan is resolute that the administration will address immigration laws and enhance border security starting January 20, despite any resistance from officials.
