Vivek Ramaswamy has been noticeably absent from social media for over a week following the fallout of his legendary post about H-1B visa holders and white working-class Americans.

A day after Christmas, Vivek weighed in on the H-1B visa debate supporting his DOGE partner, Elon Musk. He wrote a long-winded explanation on 𝕏 about the work ethics of immigrants (mostly Indians). Many people saw his views as anti-American and anti-working class.

The viral post is still up on Vivek's page, and has garnered over 117.4M views to date. Since the legendary post, Ramaswamy has quietly stepped back from social media. It has been ten days since Vivek last posted on 𝕏 – a site he historically was extremely active on before the Christmas holidays.

Some people have suggested that Vivek is quietly waiting until the internet forgets about his comments and the blowback dissipates. While others believe he annihilated any chances of ever running for politics. There has also been speculation that he may have had a falling out with President Trump due to his comments and the backlash the MAGA movement received as a consequence.

One account joked, "I think Vivek Ramaswamy has been deported to India." Many posts and comments, particularly from MAGA supports, continually critiqued Ramaswamy for a failed Alzheimer's drug he pushed when he worked in Pharma, calling him a conman and claiming he "rug-pulled" his customers. '

Internet sleuths have also posted images of Ramaswamy from a website that suggests he was a "Soros Fellow" suggesting he has ties to George Soros. Whatever the case, the MAGA base has all but turned on Ramaswamy.

The Trump Administration has said nothing about Ramaswamy or his comments but it's probable he was reprimanded by President Trump and is quietly waiting for the conversation to shift to more friendly topics. Is it possible for Vivek to make up with the MAGA base?
